COMPANY PROFILE

Bilacon Construction Limited was established in 1998.

 

The company grew modestly and steadily from £150,000 turnover in 1998 to £1.5m in 2004. Between 2004 and 2007, the company grew rapidly. The turn over in 2006 was £5.30m. The turnover in the current accounting year is expected to exceed £10m. 

 

The company’s main objective is to satisfy clients by delivering projects to a high standard of workmanship, timely completion and within cost. To maintain this we employ competent and experienced workmen within our teams and ensure adequate and structured supervision is carried out at all stages. We invest in continuous training of our employees. The company operates an equal opportunity policy.

 

The geographical area of operation is mainly in Birmingham and the West Midlands. We have carried out works in Coventry and Wolverhampton. Occasionally we have ventured out to carry out works in London and Liverpool. We have the potential to undertake construction works up to £50m (sterling) in value, and in association with our affiliates have the potential to execute works far in excess of this value.

 

The company has a wide range of experience and have executed projects in the following areas:

1. Alteration and refurbishment works to houses, offices, commercial buildings and performing Art Centre buildings.
2. New build developments for housing, commercial properties and industrial buildings under various forms of standard contract conditions.
3. Design and build contracts for residential, commercial and industrial buildings
4. Installation of mechanical, heating and air circulation ductwork and air conditioning/cooling systems.
5. Civil Engineering Construction works.
6. Sound insulation to walls, ceilings and roofs for performing theatres and the like.
7. Major electrical works including computer (CAT) and electronic cabling.
